Americanism

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #80 of Hulett hosted the Americanism Contest this year. Students Kindergarten through 12th grade were invited to participate in the contest.

Grades K-2 had patriotic coloring pages. Grades 3-12 were split into 3 classes: Class #1 (grades 3-5), Class #2 (grades 6-8), and Class #3 (grades 9-12).

This year's theme for the poem was "Thankfulness to our Veterans who have served our country". The winners are as follows:

Kindergarten: 1. Evelyn N., 2. Royce N., 3. Orville K.

First Grade: 1. Lucille N., 2. Shaye W., 3, Hannah

Second Grade: 1. Sutton N., 2. Merritt D., 3. Lorille
