Hulett historians' contest

The winners of the Hulett historians contest have been announced.

Elementary students were invited to participate in the historians' contest. There were a lot of entries submitted.

First place winner of the poster contest for second and third graders was Hadlee Apland ($50). In the kindergarten and first grade coloring contest, first place winner was Shaye Wagner and honorable mention went to four-year-old Amelia Keener ($25).

First-place essay contest winner was Jaden Wagner, with honorable mention going to Berkley Backen, Wilson McAmis and Dixie Rathbun ($75). The students wrote a one-page essay on a person, place or event. All of the entries can be viewed at the Greater Hulett Community Center.
