Kennedy removed from ballot

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has officially withdrawn from the ballot in Wyoming.

Kennedy will no longer appear as an independent candidate for President of the United States at the general election in November.

Kennedy announced the suspension of his campaign on August 23 in an address from Phoenix, Arizona.

He said that he would remain on the ballot in most states for which he qualified, “But in about 10 battleground states where my presence would be a spoiler, I will remove my name and urge voters not to vote for me.”

Kennedy blamed “censorship, media blockade and legal warfare” for his withdrawal, saying it “kept his message from reaching vast swaths of the electorate” in a press release and that many of his core issues have been adopted by Donald Trump.

According to the Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office, Kennedy announced on September 4 that he intended to withdraw his name from the general election ballot, having previously submitted petitions as an independent candidate on August 26.

“Following his notice of withdrawal, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will not appear on the ballot as a presidential candidate in Wyoming,” Secretary of State Chuck Gray said.
