Notice is hereby given that the Town of Hulett will receive and accept bids only through QuestCDN.com via their electronic VirtuBid online bid service until 1:00 P.M., local time, 12 September 2024, and a bid opening will be held at City Hall, 401 Sager Street, Hulett, Wyoming, for materials, labor, equipment, services & complete construction of the Town of Hulett’s RED DEVIL SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS, 2024. The Engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs ranges from $350,000 to $400,000.

The work consists of installing a new sewage lift station, 770 LF of 8” sewer line, 4 manholes and various incidental items.

All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud – date and time stated above. Complete digital copies of the bidding documents are available at http://www.questcdn.com. Submitting Contractors will be required to register with the website to download the bidding documents by inputting QuestCDN project # (9271268) on the website’s Project search page. The Town of Hulett (Owner) reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informalities if deemed in the best interest of the town. No bid may be considered unless accompanied by the required bid guarantee of 5% of the total bid amount which amount shall be forfeited if the bidder is awarded the Contract and fails to enter into a Contract with the Owners. Successful bidder will be required to provide payment and performance bonds in an amount of at least 100% of awarded contract price.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on 6 September 2024 at 1:00 P.M. local time, at the City Hall, 401 Sager Street, Hulett, Wyoming.

Contractors shall be required to submit proof of at least three years of experience in municipal sanitary sewer construction including sanitary sewer lift station construction experience. The proof shall consist of at least three sewer projects completed within the last three years, along with references for each project. Any specialty subcontractors shall be required to submit proof of experience of at least three years for the specialty work to be performed. The proof shall be submitted with the bid.
