Proudly Serving the Hulet and Devils Tower Community
Another family in need of support due to illness expenses was helped last weekend through the annual Ride a Horse Feed a Cowboy. This year, Katie Moody and family was the beneficiary.
Katie was diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time last year. The Moodys have been a big supporter of the local community and never hesitate to give a helping hand.
The event began with goat roping and a wiener dog race Friday night. The main event was held Saturday at the Hulett recreation grounds with bareback, saddle bronc and ranch broncs followed by the top five ranch bronc riders, who were brought back for a wild ride.
The evening ended with a taco supper, auctions and music provided by DJ Andy Bears. This was the 18th year RHFC has helped a family in need.
