Road Vacate

NOTICE OF HEARING

TO VACATE A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD NO. 51,

KNOWN AS THE KLONDIKE ROAD

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

The Board of County Commissioners of Crook County, Wyoming has resolved in Resolution No. 2024-17 pursuant to Wyoming Statute 24-3-101 et seq. to vacate a portion of a county road known as the Klondike Road (formerly the Hulett-Alzada Road) which is County Road No. 51, as shown on the Map attached to the Petition and shown below in this Notice being that portion of said road that begins at its intersection with Wyoming State Highway 112 and traverses easterly to its end point which lies 800 feet north of the south line of Section 31, T55N, R64W measured along the road centerline located on and across the following described property, to-wit:

Resurvey Township 55 North, Range 64 West, 6th P.M. Crook County, Wyoming

Section 31: S1/2NW1/4, N1/2SW1/4, SE1/4

Resurvey Township 55 North, Range 65 West, 6th P.M. Crook County, Wyoming

Section 25: SW1/4SW1/4

Section 26: SW1/4NW1/4; N1/2SW1/4, SE1/4SW1/4, SE1/4

Section 36: N1/2N1/2, S1/2NE1/4

Copies of the petition, maps of the proposed portion to be vacated (shown below), Viewers Report, Resolution No. 2024-17 to proceed and notice are available upon request from the County Clerk at [email protected]; are located in the Office of the Crook County Clerk in the Courthouse in Sundance, Wyoming or at the "Public Notices" tab at http://www.crookcounty.wy.gov

All objections thereto and or claims for damages by reason thereof must be filed in writing with the County Clerk of Crook County at P. O. Box 37 Sundance, WY 82729 on or before noon on September 3, 2024, or the road may be VACATED without reference to such objections or claims for damages on October 1, 2024, at 2:30 P.M.

If there are any objections, this matter shall be set for hearing upon the objection at a later date.
