Well over 100 kids participated in this year's annual WSG Youth Field Day. Open to kids aged 0-18, the day was enjoyable with a beautiful day of fishing and attending interactive displays.
This event is a free outdoor education experience. Displays this year included taxidermy, archery, a demonstration from the Hulett ambulance, panning for gold and bee keeping. Following the activities a lunch was served and kids received all sorts of great prizes, fishing poles, bb guns, rifles and outside gear.
This annual event is so successful because of the dedicated volunteers and Chip Neiman, who allows the event to happen on his property.
