Gardening season

Bonnie Klein reports a lot of recent activity at the senior garden in Hulett. The garden is located behind the Senior Center on land Summit National Bank has allowed the seniors to use.

Dave and Justin from Tower Valley Station and Tower Country Equipment Rental recently provided equipment and their time to help with relocating manure donated by a local rancher for composting into good gardening soil.

The garden's emphasis is on making good fresh produce readily available for the seniors of Hulett. More than 300 lbs. of food were grown last year.
