Hulett Town Council

The Hulett Town Council met on March 6, 2024 at 7 p.m. Present were Council Backen, Johnson, Kennah and Mayor Parsons. Absent was Chris Bears.

Motion to approve the agenda, Kennah/Johnson, mc.

Motion to approve the minutes, Backen/Kennah, mc.

Bunny Engbert was present to discuss her event in 2025. She has an application for use of the rec grounds. About 4200 people could participate. June 21st. Audience members had questions concerning the impact on the town and rec ground if this event is held in Hulett.

Bill and Jeannie Haas addressed the council about a pickle ball court. Also asked about a privately funded project. Will email the attorney with the question.

Police report given

Public works – replaced motor pump at water well. Leak on Bush Street is fixed. Skid steer should be here at the end of March.

The House in the park has been rented to Sundance State Bank.

The Hulett EMS would like permission at their own cost to repair and update the bathroom in their section. Motion to approve, Kennah/Backen, mc.

Permission was given for the Easter Egg hunt in the park.

There will be a budget workshop on March 19 at 6 p.m.

Motion to hire TDG to do our website, Kennah/Backen, mc.

Rally meeting March 13 at 6 p.m.

Motion to approve ADI as our insurance provider, Kennah/Backen, mc.

Motion to appoint, Bill Haas, Brian Neiman and Amanda Langley to the rec board, Backen/Kennah, mc.
