Community meeting

The Crook County Commissioners held a meeting in Hulett last Tuesday evening, which was the first meeting of a series of four. There were meetings scheduled in each town. 38 residents attended this informational meeting. The intent of the meetings was to gather public input about how Crook County land owners feel about possibly implementing some county land use regulations and county zoning. The County Commissioners have contracted Jayna Watson, a planning consultant, to facilitate these meetings. Jayna is the retired City Planner from the City of Spearfish, South Dakota.
