Severe cold spell hits area

A three-day arctic blast came across the area starting last Friday. Below zero temperatures and windchill numbers as low as -51° were reported. There were even reports of the actual temperature being -40°. The Town of Hulett reported no significant incidents with their infrastructure systems due to the severe weather.
