Local student named to WY All-State Choir

Dylan Williams, a Hulett High School 10th grade student was selected to be in the Wyoming All-State Choir in the tenor section. He will go to Casper January 14-16 to prepare and participate in the concert held on the 16th.

Williams had to tryout in Gillette in October and found out Dec. 1 that he had been selected. He had to practice and cite read and sing a piece that the judges gave him to sing. From there, their performance was reviewed and then the judges selected the All-State participants. Now he's practicing and memorizing music that he will perform at the state concert along with all the other students.
