Hulett Town Council

The Hulett Town Council met on November 1, 2023 at 7 p.m. Present were Council Bears, Johnson, Kennah and Mayor Parsons. Absent was Councilman Backen.

Motion to approve the agenda, Bears/Kennah, mc.

Motion to approve the minutes, Kennah/Johnson, mc.

Motion to approve the financial report, Johnson/Bears, mc.

Police report: Chief Motley had training today

Public works: Fixed water leak at RV Park and discovered a line that no one knew about. Getting ready to winterize all lines. Alley behind Civic Center lines are also aging out.

Bills: Motion to pay general bills, Bears/Kennah, mc.

Motion to pay Airport bills, Kennah/Johnson, mc.

Old Business:

Tire removal at recreation grounds. Bill Motley stated at the end of the month.

Land swap. Mayor went to school board. They want the 1st two lots SE Corner for 2 lots across from the GHCC and the end of Sager. Also asked about two lots next to the school barn.

Street dance contract $6,000 plus lodging. Motion to have Mayor sign contract, Bears/Johnson, mc.

Motion to approve a building permit for Bob Olson lot 57 at the golf course, Backen/Bears, mc.

Street name for the northern most road phase 3 will be Oak, Bears/Backen, mc.

Powder River Agreement: 2425 to start construction and design. Will be applied to the project, motion to sign, Backen/Johnson, mc.

Motion to purchase John Deere 444C for $66,000, Kennah/Backen, mc.

Christmas party is Dec. 15

Friday after Thanksgiving town offices will be closed
