The Hulett music department under the direction of Lila Kennah presented their annual Veterans Day Concert on Nov. 6 at the school. The entire school participated in either band or chorus.
The color guard with the American Legion Roy Montgomery Post #80 presented colors at the beginning of the program. Favorite patriotic songs such as the Star Spangled Banner, Let Freedom Ring and American Heroes were performed.
During the American Heroes song, each branch of the armed forces was called out and Veterans in the audience stood for recognition. This is a favorite concert of many and is looked forward to every year.
