The Hulett Museum and Library hosted Mike Madler last Thursday at the GHCC. Madler gave a presentation on the Axelbee gang and their history with Stoneville, now known as Alzada, Montana.
The gang hung out around Devils Tower and in 1884 the Axelbee gang and lawmen met their fatal clash at Stoneville. There was a great turnout for the informational event. Residents of Alzada and the surrounding area including students enjoyed the historical discussion of really happened that day.
