Riding for a cause

The annual Ride a Horse Feed a Cowboy was held the weekend of August 26 at the Hulett Recreation Grounds. This was the 17th year that Chanda Snook and her crew put on this event to help locals and people in rodeo, who are experiencing traumatic health issues. The money raised will be given to RHFC recipients to help with financial burdens caused by health issues. This year the event was helping Roni Johnson, Marla Waugh, Mike Tokarczyk and Greg and Michelle Davis.

Besides the Wace Snook memorial bronc ride and the ranch bronc riding, there were wiener dog races, a barbecue, silent and live auctions. The evening ended with music by Sam Munsick.

Bronc winner was Ian McGivney and Bryer Elmer took home the Ranch Bronc buckle. Burch Rodeo provided the horses.
