CROOK COUNTY LAND USE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MINUTES AT THE COURTHOUSE IN SUNDANCE, CROOK COUNTY, WYOMING

Monday, July 10, 2023

7:00 p.m. Present were Chairman, Morgan Ellsbury, Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen, Member, Ralph Goodson, Member, Dustin Buckmiller and Member, Mary Yemington. The guests in attendance were Kelly Dennis and Joe Baron.

Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen moved to amend the agenda to move the election of officers to be the first agenda item under new business; Member, Ralph Goodson moved to add zoning to the agenda. Member, Mary Yemington moved to adopt the agenda as amended; Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen moved to approve the minutes from the regular meeting held June 12, 2023, as presented; Member, Ralph Goodson seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Chairman, Morgan Ellsbury opened the election of officers; Member, Ralph Goodson moved to retain the current Chairman and Vice-Chairman; Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

The commission members discussed amendments for the Minor Subdivision Regulation and the Commission’s by-laws. Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen moved that proposed amended documents be drafted for review at the August meeting; Member, Ralph Goodson seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

The meeting adjourned at 7:46 p.m. to meet in regular session on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., in the Crook County Courthouse Jury Room in Sundance, Wyoming.
