PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AT THE COURTHOUSE IN SUNDANCE, CROOK COUNTY, WYOMING
Monday, June 19, 2023
9:00 o’clock a.m. Present were Chairman Fred M. Devish, Vice-Chairman, Kelly B. Dennis, Member Bob Latham and County Clerk Melissa Jones.
Present for the Malt Beverage Permit hearing for Saryls Properties LLC dba Devils Tower View were Jeff Hodge and Larry Schommer. After discussion, Kelly moved to approve the Malt Beverage Permit application contingent upon receiving the required fees. Bob seconded, all ayes, motion carried.
Present for the budget work session were Jeff Hodge, Larry Schommer, Carolyn Fowler, Carol Stutzman, Dan Thomas, Randy Leinen, Julie Altaffer, Joe Baron, Morgan Ellsbury, Tammy Jundt, Doug Leis, Tim Lyons and via Teams, Bonnie Stahla. Dan discussed his meeting with the state on his valuations, the state approved his proposed valuations. After discussion, Bob moved to approve the proposed tentative budget as the Clerk presented. Kelly seconded, all ayes, motion carried.
Alycia Conroy-Davis, Supervisor, Crook County Weed & Pest, presented the proposed final budget for Weed & Pest Control District and Weed & Pest Special Management. Also present were Doug Leis and Sarah Pridgeon.
Bob moved to approve the proposed final budget as presented. Kelly seconded, all ayes, motion carried.
Chad Saeler was present, via conference call, to interview for the Fire Warden position. Also present were Doug Leis, Dick Terry, Colter Ellsbury, Dallas Burch, Stephen Geis, Lee Hauber and Sam Burke.

The meeting adjourned at 12:17 o’clock p.m. to meet in special session on July 5, 2023 and in regular session on July 11 & 12, 2023 at 8:30 o’clock a.m., in the Commissioner’s Room at the Courthouse in Sundance, Wyoming.
