Recreation board discussing upcoming events

The Hulett Recreation Board meeting at 6:30pm on Wednesday May 17, 2023 at the GHCC, members that were present were Bill Motely, Heather Shoun, Stephanie Badia, Melissa Williams, Jace Badia and Karen Dirks. Meeting was called to order by President Bill Motley and agenda was discussed, motion to accept agenda by Karen and 2nd by Stephanie. The Agenda was 1. Rodeo Parade, 2. Street Dance, 3. County Royalty, 4. Casino Night, 5. Raffle Tickets, 6. Range. Secretary’s Report tabled motioned by Karen 2nd by Heather. Treasurer’s Report tabled motioned by Heather, 2nd by Karen.

Rodeo Parade – June 10th 10am, The 8:30 registration volunteers, Bill, Stephanie and Melissa.

County Royalty – Request to use Hulett Rec Grounds on June 14th need an application and deposit submitted.

Casino Night – Possible Fundraising – Stephanie will reach out to locations.

Street Dance – Getting advertisement and fundraising banners. Stephanie made the motion using promotion board funds for purchase of banners. Heather 2nd, motion passed unanimously.

Raffle Tickets – Melissa motioned to take 3 tickets to sell at the Conner Market. Heather 2nd and passed unanimously.

Range – Karen makes motion to create new berms for personal and environmental safety at shooting range. Stephanie 2nd, motion passed unanimously. Jace makes a motion to remove the short fence on range for safety. Stephanie 2nd, motion passed unanimously.

Heather motioned to adjourn, Melissa 2nd. Next meeting June 5th, at 6:pm.
