Hulett Town Council

The Hulett Town Council met on April 5, 2023 at 7 p.m. Present were Council Backen, Bears, Johnson, Kennah and Mayor Parsons.

Motion to approve the agenda, Backen/Kennah, mc.

Motion to approve the March 2023 minutes, Kennah/Backen mc.

Financial – Motion to approve, Backen/Kennah, mc.

Police – Rabies clinic will be held April 15th at the fire hall.

PWD – There was a sewer main backup by the Hulett Motel. Was resolved quickly thanks to the Moorcroft PWD. The Gantz water damage claim was denied.

Motion to pay general bills, Kennah/Backen, mc. Motion to pay airport bills, Backen/Bears, mc.

Old Business: Bid opening for Red Devil Drive Phase 3 commercial property. No bids received. Council will rebid at a minimum of $400,000.

Discussion about the land swap of the four lots against the fence. Council decided to leave the bottom as is no lot lines along the southern edge.

Motion to approve a building permit for Linda Ellefson building on Pine Street.

Motion to approve a catering permit for Pat’s Liquor out of Gillette for the OWITS, Backen/Bears, mc.

Budget workshop on April 12th at 6:00 p.m.

Motion to approve first reading of Ord. 1 Series 2023 (budget) for the time, Backen/Johnson, mc.

Motion to approve first reading of Ord. 2 Series 2023 (zoning at Red Devil Drive phase 3), Backen/Bears, mc.

Motion to adjourn at 7:40 p.m.
