Local weathermen predicted and warned people that the upcoming storm could produce massive amounts of snow and boy did it. Beginning last Tuesday snow began to fall across Northeast Wyoming and into South Dakota.
In Hulett, at least 12 inches was received Tuesday night followed by 6-8 inches Thursday and a couple inches on Friday. The storm closed businesses, schools and roads, making travel come to a halt.
Hulett public works was out in the early hours of Wednesday trying to open up the streets and make travel somewhat doable in the town. Crews worked every day plowing and moving snow so the residents could get out and around.
