Cassy Palus with the Native American blanket presented to her at the State Cross Country banquet.
Cassy Palus was recently recognized at the State Cross Country banquet in Ethete hosted by Wyoming Indian High School. She was awarded a Native American blanket with a buffalo, a symbol of pride and determination to Native American culture.
The qualifications for the award were:
• Shows concern for others
• Practices outstanding sportsmanship
• Respects/celebrates diversity of others
• Contributes to the betterment of their school and community
• Has a strong work ethic and encouraging attitude to others.
Coach Letellier said that Cassy is very deserving of this award and we are very proud of her and all she does for our team.
