Hulett Town Council

The Hulett Town Council met on June 1, 2022 at 7 p.m. Present were Council Backen, Johnson, Kennah, McCollum and Mayor Parsons.

Motion to accept the agenda, Backen/Kennah, mc.

Motion to accept the minutes, Johnson/McCollum, mc.

Oath of office was given to newly elected Mayor and two council. Ted Parsons, Mayor, Chris Bears and Derrick (Boz) Backen.

Motion was made to allow the Lions Club to hook up to the town electricity in the park for their event on Sat. Jun 11, Kennah/Backen, mc.

Sandy Neiman and Bob Richey with the Crook County Medical Services. There stated that they were going to block off the back alley entry so that non clinic patrons will not park in their parking lot. They also stated they would be getting a new sign.

Motion to approve financial report, Backen/Kennah, mc.

Police report was given. Working on street dance and had a title 25 the weekend before.

Public works stated there is an issue with the new alley project with some settling. Hot Iron has been contacted.

Bills – General, motion to pay Kennah/Johnson, mc.

Old Business – Hulett Hardware land purchase. They need the documents to be in their name. The attorney will be called.

3r reading of budget 2022-2023 was read and approved, Backen/Kennah, mc.

Fireworks will be allowed July 1-3 from 10 a.m. to midnight and July 4th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Motion made by Kennah/Backen, mc.

Motion was made to have the Mayor sign the SLIB landfill relinquishment letter, Johnson/Kennah, mc.

Motion was made to extend the contract with Victory for the garbage haul, Johnson/Kennah, mc.

Motion was made to approve the catering permit for the Ponderosa Bar for June 11, Backen/Johnson, mc.

Motion was made to approve the malt beverage permit for the roping club for Jun

Motion was made to approve the building permit for Bob Olson for Lot 78 at the Golf Course, Backen/Bears, mc.

A preliminary plat to replat lots 1-5 and 88-90 at the golf was presented by Wayne Wilson and Kenny Rathbun. Motion was made to accept the preliminary plat, Backen/Kennah, mc.
