Board members encouraged to attend training

The Crook County Clerk’s Office, in conjunction with the Midwest Assistance Program, will be holding a board member and special district director training on Friday, April 29.

The training will begin at 6 p.m. and should be done by 8 p.m. It will be held in the Courthouse Community Room in the courthouse basement in Sundance.

County Clerk Linda Fritz advises it is highly recommended that at least one board member/director from boards, special districts and improvement and service districts attend this training. As fiscal and election laws affect special districts and boards, staying up to date and compliant is very important.
