Proudly Serving the Hulet and Devils Tower Community
The Hulett Chamber held a mixer at the Red Rock Café for their March meeting. Present were Lily Altaffer, Mel Bears, Connie Hippen, Bill Motley, Kim Somervold, Jim Traversie, Craig Goodell, Bonnie Engberg, Melissa Knapp and Michelle Kreisler.
The meeting began at 6 p.m. with discussion on price change in the Hulett Travel Guide and letter from Jen Womack. Discussion leaning to getting guide ads and not making any bug adjustments so we can go to print early as possible.
Next topic was the Crook County Junkin’. Advised that it was Hulett’s tun to manage. Lily said she was going to Moorcroft Chamber meeting and will make a suggestion of each town organizing a flea market and having outside participants register for a map. She will report back.
New memberships were discussed and so far, renewals are going great.
As mentioned at the last meeting we need to firm up events and dates for the Hulett activities. This is in progress.
Financial report was given by treasurer Bunny Engberg.
Bills to be paid: Bill Motley made a motion to pay six months on storage unit at TDH Storage for $220; Craig seconded; motion carried. Bill Motley made a motion; seconded by Melissa Bears to pay $300 to Waves Website; motion carried.
Next meeting will be the 2nd Tuesday of April which is the 12th at Badger Horse on Mainstreet at 6 p.m.
