Hulett Chamber of Commerce

The Hulett Chamber met on Feb. 9, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at the GHCC. Present were Bunny Sings Wolf, Kim Somervold, Jim Traversie, Bill Motley, Lily Altaffer, Melissa Bears, and Connie Hippen.

Financial report was given. There is $4,954.55 in checking. CD’s: $810.77, &760.93 and $1,588.44 in the 12 month.

Hippen presented another check for t-shirts sold. The group will look at ordering more in the spring and maybe a new design.

Website – Is looking good and will be better if members send Summer information. We also can spotlight businesses on Facebook. The Feb. business of the month is Stonewalker Massage

Promotion Board – The Chamber needs to make a list of events that could be covered under these funds. Hulett should have about $12,000. Members are asked to bring events for submittal to the Promotion Board for reimbursement. Bears suggested an electrical advertising board, different banners, etc.

There will be a membership drive on March 8th at the Red Rock Café at 6 p.m. . It will be a meeting plus information will be provided about the Chamber.

Chamber members welcomed Jim Traversie to the business community with Badger Horse Productions.

There will be a meet and greet for Dr. Rios from the Red Bluff Medical Center on Feb. 28th at 6 p.m. at the GHCC.

There will be a special meeting set up to meet with Jen Womack about the new visitor’s guide.

Stonewalker Stone Massage in Hulett will be offering 20% off for Valentines Day until Feb. 20th on massages and aroma therapy.

Election of officers was held.

Motley made motion to nominate Lily Altaffer for President, Hippen seconded, motion carried

Bears made motion to nominate Kim Somervold for Vice presient, Altaffer seconded ,motion carried

Bears made the motion to nominate Connie Hippen as Secretary, Somervold seconded, motion carried.

Motley made the motion to nominate Bunny Sings Wolfs for Treasurer, seconded by Altaffer, motion carried.

Motion was made by Bunny to nominate Catharine Cardarelli as historian, Motley seconded , motion cardried.

The signature card at SNB needs changed to reflect that Lily Altaffer, Bunny Engberg also known as Bunny Sings Wolf and Connie Hippen all need to be on the signature cards for the Hulett Chamber.
