Rep. Chip Neiman held a town hall meeting last Tuesday at the Greater Hulett Community Center. Nearly 30 residents attended the three-hour session.
Neiman talked about a number of issues facing Wyoming. Some of the topics discussed were increasing fuel tax, funding of schools and runoff elections.
The audience was also very interested in the voting procedure and how to find out how votes were being cast on bills. Neiman brought up the legislative website and navigated it showing the audience where to find information on bills and votes.
The group also talked about how voters can change their party affiliation at the polls and how that affects the outcome of elections. Other topics discussed were bills affecting agriculture and how much funding schools get per child and how some of the COVID-19 money has been spent.
