Swimming lessons are coming back this year at the Belle Fourche Rec Center. The Town of Hulett and Hulett Rec Board will be providing transportation to and from the lessons, which will be held from July 8 to 18. Last year, 34 students took advantage of the opportunity. This year’s price has increased from $28 to $48.38 per student for nonmembers, for which each child will receive two weeks of instruction from certified swim instructors, progressing from beginner to lifeguard levels. Twenty-one students participated in track and 13 qualified for state. Coach Letellier stated that they were a great bunch of seniors who made their mark in the schools program and will be greatly missed. The team was coached by David Letellier and Brandon Ackerman.
