The 2024 1A, 6-man football All-Conference and All-State awards have been announced and Hulett had players who received awards. Kyle Smith was named to the All-Conference and All-State teams and Ben Harrison was named to the All-Conference team. Team members are voted on by coaches in their conferences....
Senior Justen Foster is this year's recipient of the Ryan Neiman Memorial Award. Foster received the football award at the awards banquet held last week. This is the fourth year he has lettered and has received numerous awards throughout his career. This memorial award is given to a player that demonstrates exceptional character, effort and leadership in the school and community....
A major recreation project started right before the winter weather settled in. The area once owned by the school and had a tennis court and basketball court was traded to the town. The town, along with a generous donation from a foundation, began a project to make the tennis courts into two pickle ball courts and reconstruct the basketball area. This project will also include new fencing and lighting. This is the first phase of this area upgrade....
The SD Heat traveling basketball team won the 6th-7th grade division tournament going undefeated at the Fall Hoop Fest tournament held Nov. 8- 10 in Rapid City at The Box. Their coach is Ben Pravecek and two Hulett boys, Paxton Pravecek and Thaddaeus Johnson, are also on the SD Heat team....

The Hulett eighth grade volleyball team ended their spectacular season by taking the district championship after defeating Bighorn 25-12 and 25-20. The district tournament was held in Kaycee on Saturday. Hulett defeated Upton 25-10, 25-14 and Tongue River 25-13, 25-20 to make it to the championship round. The Lil’ Devils Cheerleading program has established an award to honor members of the community dedicated to supporting Hulett School athletes as well as athletic programs. The Hulett Clay Target League has completed another year of trap shooting competition.
