    Average gasoline prices down again in Wyoming in the past week CHEYENNE (WNE) — Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have fallen 3.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.18 per gallon on Monday, according to GasBuddy.com’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming. Prices in Wyoming are 7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago, and stand 57.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.     The Vore Buffalo Jump Foundation (VBJF)will hold its annual meeting on October 19 at 10 a.m. at the Vore Buffalo Jump Archaeological Site located on Old Hwy 14 just west of Beulah, Wyoming.     The suspect in an armed home invasion was shot and killed by a deputy from the Crook County Sheriff’s Office early on Saturday morning in Sundance. At around 5 a.m. on October 5, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a call for an armed home invasion involving domestic violence. While responding to the residence, deputies were informed that a shot had been fired in the residence.     The Annual Hulett Roping Club BBQ and Payday was held last Sunday at the Hulett Recreation Grounds. A free barbecue was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the beautiful shaded area of the grounds. Neighbors, friends and family gathered for the steak, biscuits and gravy and cookie meal.     A rock climber is reported to have died after falling from Devils Tower on Sunday. According to a statement from the National Park Service, Devils Tower National Monument, 21-year-old Stewart Phillip Porter of Eau Claire, WI, sustained major injuries after falling from the second pitch of El Cracko Diablo. Devils Tower Law Enforcement was informed of the accident at the Tower at around 8 p.m. and located Porter and his climbing partner approximately 40 minutes later.     The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed that the storm which temporarily shut down Devils Tower in August contained a tornado. On Friday, NWS released information that the August 19 thunderstorm included a "rain-wrapped tornado" that developed about halfway between Hulett and Warren Peak in the Bear Lodge Mountains as the supercell thunderstorm tracked east.
