Fill the Fire Truck and Deck the Halls Gala was held last Saturday at the Greater Hulett Community Center. The day was full of holiday cheer, from the decorations, pictures with Santa and tree lighting ceremony to the parade of lights. The live auction of beautifully decorated greenery, including wreaths and trees, was held. People enjoyed some great finger foods, amazing coffee and hot chocolate, all donated by local businesses. The elementary Christmas concert was held last Tuesday at the school. Preschool through fifth grade sang to a packed audience. Songs such as Rudolph, the Red Nose Reindeer, Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls and Silent Night were performed for parents and friends. Children, mother injured in fiery crash near Ralston POWELL (WNE) — A woman and her two school-aged children suffered “extensive” injuries on Sunday evening after their vehicle crashed down an embankment and caught fire just east of Ralston.
