The Hulett Lions Club held their pancake supper on October 31 at the Hulett Civic Center. Hunters and local residents enjoyed the pancakes, biscuits and gravy and eggs. This is one of the main fundraisers for the club and helps them fund local projects....
The Crook County Medical Foundation presented portable AED defibrillators to representatives from the county's volunteer firefighter departments last week. The foundation purchased the AEDs after hearing there was a need for them on the trucks, said member Judy Hutchinson. Portable AEDs can be used to revive a person after a sudden cardiac arrest. Driver inattention or a possible medical condition are being investigated as possible causes of a fatal crash early Thursday morning. On November 3, a fatal crash occurred at milepost 1 on US Highway 212 near the Wyoming-South Dakota State line. JACKSON —There are no glaciers in Yellowstone National Park. That’s according to Yellowstone Superintendent Cam Sholly. Speaking with the Jackson Hole Daily on Friday morning about the summer season, he responded to a UNESCO report that said climate change would cause some glaciers in World Heritage Sites to disappear by 2050.
