The annual Hulett Lions Club pancake supper was held the night before hunting season began. This event has been held for years at the Hulett Civic Center, welcoming hunters while having a great fundraiser. Generations have come to this supper, enjoying the all-you-can-eat breakfast and visiting with friends and neighbors. To the surprise of few but the relief of many, fire restrictions are now being lightened across the county. Area kids enjoyed a brisk trunk or treat in the parking lot of the Hulett School on Halloween. Several organizations and businesses joined in and provided fun activities and games for the kids.
