    The Ride a Horse Feed a Cowboy was held the weekend of Aug. 20. The event had a great turnout at the Hulett Recreation Grounds. Proceeds will go to Riley Simmons, Chad Cordeli and Lil Roy Henwood. The 2022 RHFC Buckle winners were: Saddle Broncs – Tate Thybo, Bareback – Weston Garrett, Ranch Broncs – Cinch Hebb. Friday night people enjoyed the goat roping contest and on Saturday the rough stock rodeo was held. Evening events included BBQ, auction and dance with Badger Horse as the band....

    The Crook County School District held their annual Bus Driver's Clinic in Hulett Aug. 16, with all route bus drivers and substitute drivers attending. All bus drivers are required by the State of Wyoming to complete six hours of training yearly. This year, the clinic focused on defensive driving. Campbell County provided the training.     Zella May Schwartzkopf, 77, of Sheridan, Wyoming, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Westview Health Care Center, with her loving family by her side. Zella was born on February 25, 1945, and raised in Hulett, Wyoming, to parents Herbert and Lois (Lemrick) Grant. Eventually traveling to Idaho, then residing in Buffalo, Wyoming, before settling in Sheridan, where she married Don and started her family. Zella was a stay-at-home mom, and loved her grandchildren. White, 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep and went to rest with the Lord on August 22, 2022 at Spearfish Canyon Healthcare in Spearfish. He was a proud descendant of one of the first gold miners in the Black Hills, Richard Grenville White. He followed the path his grandfather blazed and became a gold miner at Homestake Gold Mine in Lead.
