The Devils Tower KOA Campground played host to the 21st annual Devils Tower Car Show on Saturday, sponsored by Moorcroft's Texas Trail Cruisers Car Club. This year saw 118 entries, of which Robert Lewton of Summerset, SD, won first place car with his 1936 Chevy three-window Coup Rumble Seat and Randy and Rebecca Blakeman of Gillette won first place truck with a 1948 Ford F-1. Hard to believe, but the summer reading at the library came and went. The kids had a lot of fun this year doing fun crafts and playing games. Winners received great bags filled with goodies and a gift cards were provided by The Hulett Friends of the Library. Locals may have noticed a beautiful bench that has been placed in the park in front of the Lions Club shelter. This bench is a memorial for Veronica "Roni" Johnson. Family members and memorial money have made this beautiful bench possible for locals to remember Roni who always use to sit around town drinking her Pepsi, especially in the park. She would have loved it. She passed away August 19, 2023....
f you haven't noticed it yet, there's a new beautiful flag in the Pioneer Park in Hulett. This flag replaced one that hadn't been there for many years. Funds came from the Hulett women's club with the help of the American Legion and other volunteers. The flag is situated in the front of the park and is lit at night....

This weekend will be the annual Ride a Horse Feed a Cowboy, which will be benefiting Katie Moody this year. The weekend will begin with the goat roping on Friday night at the Hulett recreation grounds at 6 p.m. On Saturday, the fun will begin at 3 p.m. with the bronc and bareback riding rodeo. Admission is $15 for this event. Following the rodeo, there will be a cowboy taco supper followed by auctions. The night will end with DJ Andy Bears playing all the musical hits....
First Baptist Church is sponsoring a Labor Day family night. Free friendly activities for your whole family on Sept. 2 at the Hulett Recreation Grounds.
