Veteran’s needing transportation to a VA appointment will now have a new option in Crook County. The DAV has provided a van to be used for area veterans. Although based in Sundance, it is hoped it will be available to serve veterans from across the county. The new service is available to take veterans to any VA scheduled appointment they may have and is not limited to the Ft. Meade facility. The Hulett prom was held last Saturday at the Hulett High School. A Vegas theme was used in the gym, including palm trees, a big Vegas sign and even a limo. DJ Brandon Ackerman introduced the couples, who were all decked out in their finest. The 2023 Prom Queen and King were Ashlynn Wilson and Brighton Thibault. When the majority of the basement level of the courthouse was taken up by historical artifacts, it wasn’t obvious to the beholder just how much space there is available.
