    The 2024 Hulett Homecoming coronation kicked off the weeklong events. The event was held outside on the football field, and the weather did not disappoint.     The Crook County Republican Party announced on Monday that it will be sending a total of $30,000 to statewide candidates in tight races and to the WY Freedom PAC. The money being used for these donations mainly comes from a previous $25,000 donation to the WY Freedom PAC during the primaries, which was later returned over concerns over its legality. The absentee voting period starts 28 days before the November 5 general election, which means it became available on October 8. Lella was born September 29, 1930 in Belle Fourche to Louis and Etta (Richardson) Shelden. She spent her entire childhood growing up on a ranch near Hulett, Wyoming, with her parents, two sisters and two brothers.     Bob Jones University recently named Abigail Palus of Hulett to the Lyric Choir, BJU’s all-women music ensemble. Palus is a freshman majoring in Biblical Counseling.
