    The Hulett Fire Department held their annual chili supper and cornhole tournament on New Year's Eve at the Greater Hulett Community Center. The turnout this year was even better than last, with eight teams playing in the tournament and more people than last year enjoying the supper.     Kenneth William Sipe, 76, of Aladdin, Wyoming, passed away on December 24, 2022. He was born October, 28 1946, in Deadwood, South Dakota, to Kenneth Otto Sipe and Edna (Schultz) Sipe. He was raised on the Sipe Ranch on Hay Creek outside of Aladdin. He graduated from Sundance High School in 1965 and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1969 with a degree in Agriculture.     The county commissioners enjoyed their first opportunity at last week’s regular meeting to try out the exemption process for the new regulations governing large-acre subdivisions, which came into effect at the end of last year. Garry Davis was the first to come before the commission to ask for an exemption, regarding land he has owned with his business partner since 1998.     The Hulett Museum is hosting a traveling exhibit starting January 20. The "Miles City to Deadwood Stage" exhibit is a traveling display sponsored by the O'Fallon Historical Museum. The trail was one of the lesser-known routes to the Black Hills. However, in its day it was an important link for the military and mail service. The route was covered by two stage companies.
