    Wanda Materi, age 95, of Upton, Wyoming, passed peacefully on December 27, 2024, at Weston County Manor. Wanda Mae Canfield was born May 1, 1929, at the ranch on Kara Creek to Willard and Ada Canfield. Along with her twin Wallace, they joined sisters, Leona and Rachael, and brother Kenneth. Wanda attended rural schools and graduated top of her class from Upton High School in 1948. She then attended the University of Wyoming for one year. Wanda married Dean Materi in 1949.
